To those who live outside Japan, do you remember the massive earthquake that struck northeastern Japan in 2011? More than 15,000 died, with 2,500 people missing. It has been 9 years since the disaster; in Ishinomaki city, the cityscape has been improved, debris has been taken away, new houses have been built, and wounds on the surface have begun to heal. However, Ms. Murashima, the representative of Mobility Support Rera, said, “We think there is more that Rera can do, and we are working to protect the community in the disaster area from social detachment.” What does this mean?
